Join us for a playful afternoon of Lindy Hop.

Intro to Lindy Hop Workshop: 2pm – 4pm

Always wanted to try swing dancing? In this 2 hour workshop, we’ll share the core moves to get you up on the dance floor in this fun and rewarding dance.

Suitable for total beginners or more experienced dancers who’d like to recap their fundamentals. No need to book with a partner as we rotate in class – but let us know if you’d rather stay with your partner.

We recommend clothing that you’re comfortable moving in, and shoes without too much grip.

Social dance: 4pm – 6pm

Try out your new moves on the dance floor!

Join us for two hours of social dancing to music that swings and is easy to dance to. All levels are welcome in this relaxed afternoon of dancing. No need to dress up unless you want to.

Even if you can’t make it to the workshop, everyone is welcome for the social dance.

The workshop and social are both taking place at The Dockyard Club, not far from the beautiful Southsea seafront. If you’re driving it’s best to come early to find a space. We suggest you park on the seafront and walk up.
